Terms of Sales

Postponement and cancellation of the course participant, and/or recipient of a gift voucher:

In the event that the buyer cannot be present on the day of the course, the postponement can only be taken into account provided that the course participant notifies them of the course.Patisserieprivee by email (and not by telephone message) at least 

 7 days before the start of the training. 

Failing to respect this formalism, Patisserieprivee will not accept the postponement of the training, and no reimbursement will be made (except in the event of a medical emergency, or professional imperative, and with proof from the doctor or employer).

The course participant can only postpone their course once (if the 7 day deadline has been respected).

As part of a gift voucher, the second registration date must not exceed the expiry date of the gift voucher.

The reservation and participation in a course must be made during the validity period of the Gift Voucher.

Cancellation/postponement due to COVID

If you are positive or a contact case, and you must therefore cancel your course at the last minute (less than 7 days before your workshop), you will be asked for proof of your positivity (pharmacy or doctor) in order to be able to postpone your course.

Failing this formality, your course will be canceled without the possibility of postponing it. 

 

Gift voucher and gift card

Since January 1, 2020, purchased vouchers and gift cards are valid1 year from date of purchase.If the date is exceeded, the gift voucher will be automatically canceled.

The reservation and participation must be made during the validity period of the gift voucher.

No extension of the validity period of the gift voucher or reservation is possible, unless the beneficiary justifies, bymedical certificate or professional proof, the total impossibility of participating in a course before the end of the validity period of the gift voucher or reservation.

In this case, the validity period of the gift voucher or reservation will be extended by 3 months from the end of validity date of the gift voucher.

No additional postponements will be accepted, and will result in the cancellation of the gift voucher.

No refunds will be made.

The schedule fills up very quickly, there is a 3 to 4 month delay to obtain a private lesson date, it is strongly recommended not to wait for the end of your validity, at the risk of losing your voucher or have extension fees.

If you request it, an extension may be offered to you at the rate of10€ per additional month (starting from the expiry date of your gift voucher).

Group cancellation conditions (via agencies or companies):

For a reservation of a corporate group or a private group,25% of the total amount will be requested when booking. 

This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation on your part.

The balance will be due 7 days before the service.

In the event that the buyer cannot be present on the day of the course, the postponement can only be taken into account provided that the course participant notifies them of the course.Patisserieprivee by email at least 7 days worked before the start of the training. 

If this formalism is not respected, the participant mustadjust the entire amount.

Purchasing an online workshop (small group classes):

The Customer undertakes to complete the order form accurately.

When placing an order, the Customer undertakes to inform the Service Provider in writing of any food allergies or intolerances likely to affect them.

The workshops presented on the website cannot under any circumstances be subject to requests for modifications from the client.

Course offers are valid as long as they are visible on the website, subject to availability.

An order is registered on the Service Provider's Website when the Customer has validated their order and received an order confirmation email.
The Customer has the possibility to check the details of his order, its total price and to correct any errors before confirming his acceptance (article 1127-2 of the Civil Code). This validation implies acceptance of all of these General Conditions of Sale and constitutes proof of the sales contract.
It is therefore up to the Customer to verify the accuracy of the order and to immediately report any errors.

The sale will only be considered final after confirmation of acceptance of the order by the Service Provider has been sent to the Customer by email and after receipt by the latter of the full price.

Any order placed on the Website constitutes the formation of a contract concluded remotely between the Customer and the Service Provider.
The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.

 

However, registrations only become effective after full and prior payment for each course.

Online purchases for a workshop cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded.

Right to retract :

In accordance with article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, “ the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts […]: 12° Provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car rental, catering orleisure activitieswhich must be provided on a specific date or period”.

Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply to Services which are provided on a specific date or period.

In the event of no-show by the customer on the day of the course (and without valid proof), the purchase will be lost, no alternative solution or refund will be offered. 

In the event of cancellation by Patisserieprivee for reasons beyond its control (administrative closure imposed by the government for example or illness), you will be offered a credit for the amount committed valid for another course of your choice for a maximum period of 6 months, or another date of the canceled course.

Regulation and means paynt:

Group workshops:At no time can the sums collected be considered as deposits or advance payments. Payment for  products is made using the following payment methods   :

Bank card  VISA or  EUROCARD  MASTERCARD online from the site by the  STRIPE payment system which encrypts 

information in order to protect all data related to personal information and means of payment. Validation by card is immediate.

Check : Checks sent or given in person toPatisserieprivee for booking a course or for the purchase of a gift voucher, are cashed upon receipt to confirm registration.  For postponement or cancellation (refer to paragraph "Postponement and cancellation by the participant in courseand/or beneficiaryof Nice present".

Tailor-made private lessons:

A deposit of 25% of the total amount will be required when booking your private course/training.

A deposit is a firm commitment, therefore it is non-refundable in the event of cancellation on your part.

It is not permitted to have an accompanying observer during private lessons (except for children under 12 years old). Attending and observing amounts to following the course, it will therefore be considered as 2 participants and not just one, because there are 2 natural people in the workshop.

 

Limitation of liability
